Matthew tell us to “seek the Kingdom of God first…” Matthew 6:24. You ever notice when you pray first before you start your day, then the rest of the day just seems to be a peaceful one?And when you don’t pray first and pray at the end of day, you feel as though your day did not go as well as planned.
Matthew expressed the importance of staying focused by seeking God first before we do anything else. We ask God to protect us, take care of our families, for wisdom and direction for the plans that lay ahead of us.
We also pray that if there is anything that is a distraction that prevents His plans from being fulfilled, that those plans will be dismissed and removed from our paths. Psalms 91 talks about the protection plan that He has for us, but we must stay focused so we don’t become distracted.
Let’s do that today. Take time in the morning and start your day right with prayer and focus. You will feel good, your family will be happy and your day will feel fantastic.
