The million dollar question that a lot of believers ask themselves throughout the year is, “Am I in God’s will?” The answer is “yes.” At this very moment you are in God’s will. You are making a profound impact right where you are, and you are exactly where you are supposed to be–in the now. The Word of God says in Proverbs 16:9 “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.” God is waiting for us to take steps “for the steps of a good man (or woman) are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.” As we walk in the direction that God has for us, which is simply doing what is in your heart to do, God will preserve our lives and keep our feet from slipping Psalm 66:9.
To do nothing, is simply wasting your time since time is precious and important to God. Make those things that important to God, important to you. Spending quality time with your family this season and by following the example of Christ by loving one another and walking in love whether you feel like it or not. This is His will for your life.
We all want to accomplish things and sometimes we don’t have a sense of direction on where to start. The Word of God directs you, and the book of Proverbs is full of wisdom. If you begin by walking by faith, if you start, then God will finish. God is waiting for you to do something. God can’t do it without you. God needs you to be his arms, ears, eyes and feet. Walk in the direction that your heart cries out for, and watch Him take you from Glory to Glory.
