The time of year has come when things begin to move quickly. Before you know it, the year 2015 will arrive. Change is good. Change brings God’s opportunity to bless you. We can all benefit from change in our lives. Sometimes we don’t like change, because we fear the unknown. If we learn to embrace change, it can be an awesome experience. If we are struggling with relationships, or divorce, it may not be easy at first to adjust to change. Figuring out what we need to do to start our new life is difficult. It is exactly that, starting a new chapter. It may feel like a bumpy road, but with support from your loved ones, change can be a positive thing. Feeling guilty about change is what brings people to unhappiness. What comforting words Jesus said in Hebrews 13:5 “ … I will never leave you or forsake you…” It is comforting to know that Christ is there to help us through times of difficulty, and to help us in our new journey. You might be telling yourself, “I need to change, but I don’t know how.” Be comforted, God has made it possible for you to know Him and experience an amazing change in your own life, and you don’t have to go through it by yourself.
We will trust God with all the changes, and know that He is more than able to help us. Every second, if need be, we can find a blessing. Change can be our friend. Let’s look for God in the change he brings to our lives.
If there is some area in your life in which you need help, we are here for you at Brookhaven Renewal Program.
